The Saskatchewan Falconry Association has three types of memberships; they are Apprentice, Regular and Affiliated Membership.

All first time falconers in Saskatchewan must be sponsored by a licensed Saskatchewan falconer and complete an apprenticeship program. Upon being sponsored the apprentice can apply for membership in the Saskatchewan Falconers Association by filling out a
membership form and attend at least one meeting or field meet.

Once the apprentice has completed their apprenticeship to the satisfaction of their sponsor, they can apply for membership as a Regular Member and must be voted in by 2/3 of the regular members.

To become a regular member, you must fill out a membership form
citing your past apprenticeship or equivalent, along with a résumé of your falconry experiences. The membership application will need to be approved by 2/3 of the regular members.

Once you have been voted in by the regular members, you will have voting rights and be able to fill executive positions.

Any Person or organization can become an Affiliated Member by filling out the
membership form. Affiliated members cannot vote or hold executive positions.

Please refer to the Saskatchewan Falconry Association's Constitution
for more detailed explanations on the above.
